Have you ever seen an empty bus drive by? It can be a common occurrence especially during off-peak hours or in less populated areas. They seem to be taking a lot of liberties with their brand and I personally really resonate with that.Watch video on YouTube Making public transportation more equitable and sustainable The slides are sick, everything that they're doing is cool, wild, and fun. Ugg is doing so many new cool styles, and so many new sick collections are coming out. It is my first campaign ever, so that's inherently exciting. So when I first took the campaign, I was over the moon. I used to live in the snow and in the mountains, so I wore Ugg every day - like literally every day. It's so surreal because I've been wearing Ugg honestly my entire life. TV : As the star of UGGs' 2022 FEEL YOU campaign, what has it been like working with the brand? The ratios are all different - some days you’re a Gwingle, some days you’re a Gwongle. And we all have a Gwingle and Gwongle inside of us. RW: It means nothing and everything! A Gwingle is like an angel, a pure soul. TV : Your upcoming solo tour in the fall is called “The Gwingle Gwongle Tour.” Can you tell us what “Gwingle Gwongle” means? I’m also just excited to play at all these iconic venues that I've never been in and learn and grow as an artist. I'm ready to hang out with her and you know, hopefully, we'll have some good talks. ![]() RW: I'm excited to be opening up for Lorde and I'm excited to meet her. TV : You’re going on tour this year! What are you most excited about? I want them to remember it, and experience a night that takes them away from their real life and brings them into a different universe. I want to give people the night of their life. And as the years go on, I’ve gotten more and more fearless. There was a time where it was pretty nerve wracking for me, but I’ve always been a little fearless. RW: The beginning of everything for me was at age 10. Growing up, were you always into performing? When did you start to develop your love for being on stage? TV : You have an electric stage presence. It was so different from my previous videos because I was so green screen-oriented with my visuals, so it was fun to get outside and do something different. I styled the whole thing and it was just a fun video to do. We did this really cool thing with the lighting of the video so it looked very surreal. It looks like we were in Croatia, the Netherlands or some sh*t, but it was California. Haley Appell, who is my creative director, directed the video. ![]()
